Maw/ Shopping MallDova 2026

In May 2026, I participated in the collective exhibition of Moldova Art Week, held at Shopping MallDova in Chișinău. For one week, one of the largest shopping centers in the country was transformed into an open contemporary art gallery, where visitors could discover works by artists representing diverse creative approaches and artistic visions. The exhibition was part of the broader Moldova Art Week program, which brings together more than one hundred artists and numerous cultural initiatives.

Four of my paintings were featured in the exhibition:

«Moon Guardian of the Passage»

«Fuchsia»

«Revelation»

«Singularity: Spiritual Connections»

A unique aspect of the exhibition was its location. My artworks were displayed on the glass structure of the panoramic elevator shaft in the central atrium of Shopping MallDova, one of the most visible architectural spaces within the building. As a result, the paintings could be viewed from multiple floors and became an integral part of the public environment.

This experience was particularly meaningful because it allowed art to move beyond the traditional gallery setting and enter everyday life. Thousands of visitors encountered the exhibition while shopping, meeting friends, or simply passing through the atrium. Many stopped to observe the works, photograph them, and engage with them in a spontaneous and personal way.

Each painting explored a different dimension of my artistic practice. Moon Guardian of the Passage reflects on transformation and inner journeys. Fuchsia examines the emotional power of color and feminine energy. Revelationcaptures a moment of truth, self-awareness, and personal discovery. Singularity: Spiritual Connections explores the invisible threads that connect human consciousness, memory, and spiritual experience.

Participating in Moldova Art Week was an important milestone in my artistic journey. Presenting my work alongside other contemporary artists within a collective exhibition and reaching such a broad audience reaffirmed my belief that art can thrive in public spaces and create meaningful connections beyond the walls of traditional galleries.
